Customers are changing their preferences due to rising gasoline prices to take advantage of the CNG car's mileage. Vehicles powered by compressed natural gas (CNG) have better fuel efficiency, are less expensive to operate overall, and offer an energy-efficient substitute for the best cars.A naturally aspirated, fuel-efficient 1.0 or 2.0-litre engine producing 56.2 bhp of power and 78 Nm of peak torque powers the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R CNG. Purchasers of CNG are rewarded with a 1.0L kit engine installed at the factory.



According to Maruti, the Wagon R CNG mileage has increased to 34.05 km/kg from 32.52 km/kg due to newer technology. Only the base LXi and LXi(0) grades were available for the preceding car. Nevertheless, it is also offered in a mid-spec VXi version with an improved package for its higher price, which comes with improved Wagon R CNG mileage.
